Does connecting my platform cost extra?
No. The WordPress plugin is free, and every other platform takes one pasted script. Yaplet's free plan covers the chat on your site and the shared inbox, with no card needed. Some site builders allow custom code only on paid plans; Wix, Squarespace and Webflow do.
Is there a Shopify app?
No, and you don't need one. You paste the Yaplet script into your theme's theme.liquid file once, and the chat shows on every page of your store.
Do I need a developer?
Not to install the chat. You install the plugin, or copy the code from the Install tab in your dashboard and paste it where the guide shows. Only the Product API and API tools need someone who works with APIs.
My platform isn't listed. Will Yaplet work?
Yes, if your site lets you add code to every page. Paste the script before the closing body tag, or add it through Google Tag Manager. A few builders, such as Google Sites, don't allow this; the docs list them.
Does the AI answer Messenger, Instagram and email too?
Yes. Once you connect them, Yaplet answers those messages from the same knowledge it uses in the chat, and your team can take over in the same inbox.
Can Yaplet look up an order?
Yes, through your own system. Add an API tool that calls your order endpoint, and Yaplet can fetch an order's status during the chat. There's no built-in order lookup for Shopify or WooCommerce.
