How is this different from the knowledge base?
The knowledge base holds short support articles customers read inside the chat widget. The documentation builder is your product's docs website: structured, nested, searchable pages on their own hosted site that your widget links to. Yaplet answers from both.
How good is the AI drafting?
Yaplet writes a solid first draft from a short topic description and can use your other doc pages and help articles for context. Treat it as a starting point: review and edit every page before you publish.
Can I run docs for more than one product?
Yes. Each of your brands gets its own docs site on its own address. On a paid plan a brand can hold up to five doc spaces, and one of them is its public docs site. Your plan sets how many brands you have.
What languages can I write docs in?
Any language. Each doc space is written in one language, which you pick when you create it.
Who on my team can edit the docs?
Your team's roles and permissions decide who can write and publish pages. Everything stays inside your Yaplet workspace.
Can I unpublish a page after it goes live?
Yes. Publish or unpublish any page or category whenever you want, or a whole branch at once. An unpublished page drops off your site right away.
Where are my docs hosted? Can I use a custom domain?
Yaplet hosts your docs on your own subdomain (yourbrand.yaplet.help), so there's nothing to set up or maintain. Custom domains aren't supported yet.
Which plans include the documentation builder?
The Growth plan includes it. On any other plan, add it as the Documentation add-on for $19 a month.
